I was born and raised in Jackson, TN. After completing high school I decided to serve my country in the U.S. Navy branch of the military. I served five years on active duty prior to affiliating with the Naval Reserves. Throughout the tenure of my military service, I had opportunities to serve at Naval bases spanning from the east to the west coast in strategic and diverse capacities. My assignment as an Information Systems Technician allowed me to see the world. After serving 30 years, I retired in 2012 and left a great camaraderie of Navy Chief Petty Officers to continue leading the charge and keeping the Navy traditions moving forward. Upon reflection of the time I served in the U.S. Navy, I am thankful to be an American in this great country of ours.
The decision to become a Buffalo Soldier has given new meaning as well as elevated my excitement about motorcycle riding. I love my chapter and my fellow members. This club’s focus on giving back to the community and positively impacting the lives of others add even more merit to club membership. In my early years as a motorcyclist, I had a goal to ride in all 50 states (Hawaii may be tough). Becoming a Buffalo Soldier has breathed life into this dream that was once deferred and returned this aspiration to the top of the priority list. Outside riding, I also enjoy photography, fitness training, history trivia, and coaching youth sports (mainly football and basketball).
I have worked for Kimberly Clark Maumelle for 20 years and current serve as the facility Planner and TALCM Coordinator. I have been married to Kendra Boyle for the 23 years, and we have four children; two sons (Cass, Kylon) and two daughters (Kassidy, Kristin).
