Name: Sharon Alexander

Road name: Sweet Tea

Iron Horse: Honda Goldwing Trike

I am originally from Dermott, AR, and spent most of my formative years there before moving to Detroit, MI, where I completed junior high and high school. I returned to Golden Lion Country (University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff) to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in English and Leadership Management. I also have a Master’s of Science in Publication Management from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Before returning to reside in Arkansas in 2013, I lived and worked in Northern Virginia for 27 years.

In 2006, I received my motorcycle license and have been riding regularly every since. I participated in several rides–including Buffalo Thunder– with the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club. Once I settled in Arkansas, I sought out a nearby chapter to join and was elated to learn that a Little Rock Chapter exists. I became a full member in April 2015. I feel honored to be a part of a group dedicated to preserving the rich history of and paying homage to the many contributions of the Buffalo Soldiers while pursuing two of my favorite past times–motorcycling and traveling. I look forward to the many adventures and experiences, service, fellowship, and camaraderie while proudly and dutifully serving as a member of the Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club.
