Name: Charlotte J. Thomas
Road Name: Sassy
Iron Horse: 2010 Honda Gold Wing Trike

I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I had always ridden as a passenger on motorcycles for most of my adult life. In 2010, I decided to take control and move from the backseat to the front seats so I purchased my trike and after some lessons and encouragement from my husband hit the roadways for a 2200 mile break-in and I have been rolling ever since. Only another rider can understand the freedom I feel in control of my own as I travel throughout the country proudly wearing my colors and representing the Buffalo Soldiers. I retired after working 33 years with Laclede Gas Company in St. Louis and moved to Arkansas after I met my husband. I joined the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club-Little Rock (Mother) Chapter in 2010 as a Probie and now hold the position of Treasurer. I know of no better way to spend my retirement years than riding in honor of the 9th & 10th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, passing their history on to another generation and actively participating in various charitable community service projects for the betterment of my community. I am proud to walk in the shadow of Cathy Williams, the only documented female Buffalo Soldiers who shared the same hardships as her male counterparts as a proud BUFFALO SOLDIER.
